Join us as we continue to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Manchester City Library main building. On June 11, 1913, the construction of the Manchester City Library began with the laying of the cornerstone and the setting of mortar by donor Frank P. Carpenter. This would begin the construction of one of

Manchester's most important landmarks. On Tuesday, June 11, 2013, Jennifer Yakunovich, Museum Educator for the Manchester Historic Association will present an illustrated talk about the construction and architecture of the main library building. After the talk, participants will be invited to join a guided tour of the building.
